IF your dad can sing, dance, play music, tell jokes, do keepy-uppies or solve a Rubix Cube, then he should enter “My Dad’s Got Talent” which takes place at Féile na mBláth in Tralee on Father’s Day.
Families throughout Kerry must nominate your dad before the Monday 12th June closing date to make sure he’s in with a chance of being shortlisted for the final on Father’s Day, Sunday 18th June.
The Coordinator of Féile na mBláth, Bryan Carr, said: “There is no better way to celebrate Father’s Day than by staging a fun event that showcases some of the most talented dads in the Kingdom. As someone who runs a stage school, it’s clear to see that the children who attend our classes didn’t lick their talent off the floor. Simon Cowell won’t be available to attend but our panel of judges are looking forward to the mother of all Father’s Day entertainment events.”
To enter, send a video, 30 to 60 seconds in duration, of your dad performing his talent to Radio Kerry’s Whatsapp 083 300 3 300 before 6pm on Monday 12th June.
The 10 Finalists will be chosen by Elaine Kinsella and Andrew Morrissey from Kerry’s Full Breakfast and Brendan Fuller from The Afternoon Show on Radio Kerry.
All nominees must be available to perform in the final on Father’s Day, Sunday 18th June during Féile na mBláth in Tralee Town Park.
My Dad’s Got Talent will be presented in partnership with Kerry Mental Health Association who are happy to support events that connect people and communities while promoting mental wellbeing.
The overall winner of My Dad’s Got Talent will receive a wonderful prize of a Family Lunch in the magnificent Rose Hotel Tralee while all 10 finalists will receive a family pass to the Aqua Dome Tralee.
Don’t miss the deadline of Monday 12th June by which time you must send a video (approximately 30 to 60 seconds) of your dad performing his talent to Radio Kerry’s Whatsapp 083 300 3 300.
