Kerry Mental Health Association Launches 5 Ways To Wellbeing Campaign

PROMINENT Kerry people from the world of sport, theatre, business, education and the media launched Kerry Mental Health Association’s campaign by recording videos to promote the 5 Ways To Wellbeing – Connect, Be Active, Take Notice, Keep Learning & Give. With the support of Mental Health Ireland, the videos can be viewed across Kerry Mental Health Association’s social media platforms and on www.KerryMentalHealth.ie.

Bullying, Fitting-In And Covid-19 Causing Stress For Kerry Leaving Certificate Students

This survey was aimed at secondary school students in Kerry who are about to sit their Leaving Certificate this year. The survey intended to find out if the students mental health were in any way affected by the potential changes to this year’s Leaving Certificate due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The survey aimed to examine the potential effects this uncertainty had on a student’s mental health and if they feel supported. The survey also examined the issue of bullying in secondary schools and examined what kind of role social media plays in their lives.
